PHYSEE PAR+ is on a mission to increase yield inside greenhouses in a sustainable manner with a revolutionary coating. This year, we have executed our first pilot and achieved positive results on crop quality and crop growth. In the coming year, we aim to increase traction and proof points in the market by executing more pilots where we show the potential of PAR+ and by the end of next year we will be ready for commercialization. First in the Netherlands and subsequently worldwide.
In this new role, you will play a critical role in the further development of commercial activities. You will be responsible for creating new business and be our first point of contact with our customers; greenhouse growers. First, you will focus on involving sufficient growers in the piloting phase to prove our technology, and afterward, you’ll be responsible for the sales of PHYSEE’s PAR+ coating. You will report directly to the CEO.
What you’ll be doing?
- Generate and solidify leads and convert prospects into happy clients.
- Stakeholder management: you will be the main contact point towards the greenhouse growers and manage multiple leads and customers simultaneously.
- Clearly explain the beneficial effects our PAR+ coating has on crops and convince growers of what that means on a plant physiological level.
- Negotiate contracts to sell projects for a fair price.
- Validate our business case in the market and tailor our value proposition based on input received from customers.
- You will act as an ambassador internally and externally and represent PHYSEE’s values at all times.
Who we’re looking for:
- An experienced account manager with a proven track record in executing horticultural projects.
- Min. 3 years experience in agricultural sales, crop research, or consultancy. Ideally, you have worked with our target crops; tomatoes, sweet peppers, strawberries, and/or cucumbers.
- You hold a HBO/WO degree, a plus would be if you obtained an agricultural-oriented education.
- Understanding of the Horticultural sector or the ability to understand new sectors.
- You are someone who is able to understand technical discussions and be a partner for both commercial and technical-oriented clients and colleagues.
- You are an outgoing person, show perseverance, a good networker, and presenter. You are a full exponent of PHYSEE's mission and culture.
- You are fluent in both English & Dutch.
- You feel a strong passion to change the perspective on sustainable horticulture with our technological solutions.
- In possession of a driving license.
